Wildberry Country Lodge is located on the left side of the road as you head North on route 430. It is 16kms before St Anthony and 36kms from L'Anse aux Meadows. L'Anse aux Meadows is located at the end of route 436. St Anthony is at the end of Route 430. The Wildberry is located 1.5 kms inland from the ocean, so we do not have an oceanview, but we do have a beautiful view of the Long Range Mountains .
Note: When you see the "Welcome to Vinland" sign pictured here. As you are headed North on Route 430 Wildberry is 2km further on on the left side of the road.

5/5Vacation ❘ It's just rustic looking and you kinda have to set aside all your fancy expectations (this isn't a 4 star Hotel spa) but it's incredibly cosy and spacious. The fireplace is a real plus and adds to the atmosphere. The owner Lynn is just a little shy and awkward, but he is extremely accommodating, kind and helpful, always ready to make you delicious eggs and bacon/sausages/ beef patties (depending on the day ) breakfast at any time of the morning with a variety of alll day available self serve bread, jam, fruit, cereal and of course tea and coffee. He even came to give us some money back because we had overpaid.

This was a pleasant experience, and we will definitely return. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The kitchen is always available for your own cooking, it is easy to relax and well situated to visit l’Anse aux Meadows. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean.

Weird welcome. He'll want $120 for one or $140 for two in cash no matter what your reservation price is. Messages back and forth prior to the stay were confusing and misleading. No tv in rooms, but there's one in common room with the other guests. Then, owner turns out to be nice and had a great breakfast.
